Happy Belated Birthday. . .

My sis-in-law had another "29th" birthday in March. . .
I really didn't forget her birthday, but I just wasn't able to make her a card due to the fact that we were in the middle of unpacking and my crafty space was kinda low on the priority list. . .
shocking, I know!

I can say, however, that hers was the first card made in Buttercup's Room!

This stamp set is one of my favorites. I just want to tickle the belly of that little hedgehog.



You might think that the story ends here, but you would be oh, so, wrong!

I completed the card and then it took me about a week to get it into the mail box. . .this is where it gets interesting. You see, my sis-in-law lives in Fontana, CA. . .the people of SoCal tend to call her city Fontucky since it used to be out in the middle of nowhere. I now live in KY. . .apparently I combined those two thoughts and addressed her card to Fontana, KY!
Blessed be the postal workers of our great country. . .it actually made it to her!!!

 I think that I might need to start getting some more sleep. . .
